Bestseller Aarhus City Half 2026

I recently participated in the Aarhus half for the 3rd year in a row. It’s simply so awesome that I keep coming back - this year was no exception 🤩👏🏻.

Nano Summary ⚡️

This half was as always amazing in terms of route events (musicians, performances, DJs) and crowd support 🥳🤩. In 2024 I set my lifetime best half time there (1:29:20 official ↔️ 1:28:29 Strava), and I didn’t beat it again until earlier this year at Skjern Bank Løbet. Not even at this Aarhus half in 2025 did I manage to beat it (2024 must have been one of those everything-was-perfect days 😅).

But this time I improved on my 2024 race 🚀😎 with an official 1:28:32 plus a Strava half in 1:27:36. Granted, I brought my carbon shoes this time (ASICS Metaspeed Edge Tokyo) … 🤫 … but hey, 2 weeks prior I had run 24 Timer Ved Havet — DM 24 Timer in Sæby, so I think it evens out, don’t you? 😅

Absolutely yes 🤩.

This race remains one of my absolute favorites. The atmosphere along the route is amazing, with music, performances, DJs, and crowd support all over Aarhus 🥳, and the route through the city is lovely and beautiful. The whole experience feels very professional and streamlined, the race bag is graciously packed with all sorts of goodies like snacks and drinks, and the race t-shirt is really nice too 👌🏻.

This one gets my top rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
